The under-seat design of this system necessitates eliminating the passenger footpegs to accommodate the high-mounted mufflers. This relocation from the underside of the motorcycle makes it particularly suitable for racing applications, where a belly pan sump is essential for catching fluids. For street bikes, the under-seat design also helps reduce heat stress on the lower fairing, minimizing the risk of scorched body panels and excessive heat radiating into the rider's legs.
APPEARANCE
The surface finish is a natural brushed finish that, when heated, changes to an iridescent blue and red. Titanium also has an advantage over stainless steel in that It won't stain, corrode, or ever need polishing due to its high acid and salt resistance. Titanium also dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, safeguarding against extended heat soaking into the body panels when stationary.
